Have you had any negative experiences with other removal companies before using Moversaurus?

It was 27 years since we last moved home. And our previous movers were also very good. I think that Moversaurus had the edge, thanks to their outstanding customer service throughout the moving process.

How was the survey experience? Do you believe we conducted a thorough survey? Did we put you at ease? Did we answer any questions and address any concerns during this phase? Do you believe we were knowledgeable and diligent?

The survey was carried out exceptionally well and I had confidence from the start that Moversaurus would undertake our house move with great care and attention to detail. I was especially encouraged by the fact that the Moversaurus representative said that he would, having reviewed our goods and chattels and our needs, conduct a survey of our new home for access and so on. This gave me great confidence and reassurance.

When was your move?

We moved home from Nork to Dorking on Friday 30 August 2024.

What kind of property did you move from and to?

We downsized from a five bedroom detached house in Nork to a five bedroom two storey semi detached town house in Dorking, but losing a 1000 square feet, a 230 foot garden and a swimming pool in the process. So quite a dramatic and potentially traumatic experience.

Have you had any negative experiences with other removal companies before using Moversaurus?

It was 27 years since we last moved home. And our previous movers were also very good. I think that Moversaurus had the edge, thanks to their outstanding customer service throughout the moving process.

Were we on time? Did we dismantle and reassemble any furniture items? Did we transport any special or sentimental items? Did we handle your items with care? Did we protect the stairs and hallways? Did we leave the property clean?

The five Luton vans that were allocated to our move were there ahead of time; we had stayed in a nearby hotel overnight and arrived at 0750 to find the Moversaurus team already there, waiting our arrival. The Moversaurus team handled all aspects of our move with the utmost care and attention. Nothing was too much trouble. The carpets and stairs at both our existing and new properties were properly protected. The attention to detail was outstanding. We also had a problem getting our leather sofa and chairs up the narrow stairs at our new property. The Moversaurus team managed to hoist the furniture up one of the lightwells (the property is built into a hillside) with care and diligence; most impressive.

Were the team friendly and attentive throughout the process? Do you have anything else to add on the Moversaurus team?

We were extremely impressed with the work and attitude of the seven man team (yes they were all men). As I said in an earlier brief review, they were positive, enthusiastic, hard-working and professional; a pleasure to deal with.

Did Moversaurus help to remove any stress or anxiety you had about the move?

Moving is stressful – in the lead up, on the day and subsequently. Moversaurus managed to make moving fun and enjoyable – some achievement!

Would you recommend Moversaurus?

Absolutely. If there is a better removal company out there, I would like to know. Because I very much doubt it!
